Use Jira issue changes to run a live SLA operating picture.

SLApulse is operational SLA monitoring software for service and Jira teams. It turns the issue events you already have into prioritised SLA signals, so the next commitment to work on is easier to see.

Jira remains where work is managed

Jira Cloud is the native connection path in SLApulse. The aim is not to replace your issue workflow or create another queue to maintain. SLApulse listens to relevant issue history, interprets the workflow against your SLA rules, and gives the team a separate operational view of pressure and priority.

That distinction matters. Jira can show every task and status. SLA monitoring answers a narrower operational question: which service commitments are stable, which are deteriorating, and which issue needs attention first?

What the team sees

  • Command Center shows which projects are ready, live, collecting, or need setup work.
  • Health Monitor shows the current SLA picture across active work, including warning and critical signals.
  • Triage Board groups the working queue by urgency so the next action is not hidden among all open issues.
  • Reports and issue explanations connect a measured result to the observed timeline and configured SLA rules.

Start with one Jira project

  1. Create one SLApulse project that matches the Jira project you want to monitor.
  2. Connect Jira Cloud and check the source connection before importing history or reconciling.
  3. Copy the webhook URL and secret from SLApulse; do not construct or edit the URL manually.
  4. Map the Jira statuses that start, pause, respond to, resolve, or close an SLA.
  5. Check a few real issues before relying on the live board or reports, then add the next project.

Good first check: Use a small project with representative statuses. Confirm that one real issue has the expected timeline and SLA state before expanding the configuration.

Monitoring is useful when it changes the next action

An operational SLA view should make work easier to decide, not create more dashboards. Teams can use the live picture during handover, a daily check, or a service desk stand-up, then use reports later to explain completed outcomes. If an issue is not yet critical but has consumed enough SLA budget to need attention, the queue should make that visible early.
